What is Zap Apple Camp

A Camping Party for all Fans of Cartoon Horses that lasts all weekend!

  • ZapAppCamp for short, is a new event for the huge UK fanbase of My Little Pony. This event is a 3 day (2 nights) camping weekend, just a weekend to spend relaxing, chilling, playing games and socialising with fellow MLP fans.

The event is of course very welcoming to other Fandom Fuelled groups such as Furries, anime & cosplay, and fans of games or other animated universes (like Spirit or Centaurworld).

Due to the accessibility and presence of alcohol brought by attendees, the event is not allowing minors, you must be over 18 years old to attend.

Though if there is enough interest from families wishing to attend an MLP themed camping weekend, then we will see about planning around the request for future events.

  • Our 2023 Event is happening on Thursday 17th - Sunday 20th August!

Tickets and registration will be available soon!

  • ZapAppCamp will be taking place at Thorney Lakes Caravan & Camping Park, near Langport in Somerset, in the South West of the UK.

You can find all travel information on our Travel Page

The Campsite

We are very grateful and thankful for Thorney Lakes Camping Park accommodating our first event for 2022. We hope that the campsite will be plenty perfect enough for us and that we can create a good relationship with the owners and their staff. To ensure this, we ask that all campers be respectful and abide by the few ground rules made by the Site Owners.

  • Noise curfew from 10pm - 6am

We have been asked to reduce our noise and music volume when 10pm comes round. This is so that the other campsite guests (some with children) can have some peace and quiet to sleep and enjoy their evenings on holiday.

  • No ground fire

A big rule for everyone’s safety especially as we’ll be doing this in August when it is usually very dry, you are not allowed to burn fires directly on the ground, All fires must be raised be it in a non disposable BBQ or self contained fire pit. The site has paving slabs available to use as a surface.

  • Clean up

We should not have to keep asking you, but please as an all round general thought, clean up after yourself. We are in the country and littering is not acceptable here. Rubbish and recycling points and bags will be provided, but if you see any form of litter, please dispose of it!

  • Respect

We will not be the only people using the campsite, towards the shower block will be the Family field, we ask that you keep a good rep for our group and be respectful and polite to the other guests staying at the site. Please keep profanities and noise to our camp only. Also be respectful of each other. If you have any problems with someone’s attitude or behaviour, please let Camp Staff know.

  • Stay Safe

Safety is key when camping! Please be careful and safe with equipment, tools, flames and utensils. We also ask to drink responsibility at our event. We will have first aid kits on site for emergencies.

  • Other notes - A few notes from our event staff

    • If you must smoke, please do so away from the group and the main tent areas. Please dispose of cigarette ends in a metal container. Do not throw cigarette ends or matches into the grass or hedges. There is high risk of fire during the Summer.

    • Substance use is prohibited at this site. If discovered, you will be made to leave, Police may be involved if you do not leave accordingly. Please do not bring anything unless you have proof that it is needed for medical reasons, if so then we ask that you use it very far from our tent camp area and away from the other guest sites.

    • Weapons and metal display weapons/props are prohibited from this site. LARP weapons, nerf and toys are allowed as long as they are proven fully fake and safe. Airsoft weaponry and paintball arsenal are not allowed at our event.
